Things to know if you want a T-Shirt Quilt made

Here are some frequent questions that you need to decide:

What size of quilt do you want?

If the number of shirts exceed the recommended number there will be an additional cost per shirt of $2.00.

Here is a table that can help you:

Size of QuiltRecommended Number of Shirts
Lap 48×4815-20
Throw 52×6418-25
Twin 60×8430-40
Full 78×8740-50
Queen 84×9250-60
King 102×9260-80
All measurements are in inches

If you want the quilt in 2 weeks there will be a $100 additional cost

Do you have a preference for the type of Batting: 100% Cotton or 80/20 Cotton/Polyester?

What color of fabric do you want for the front and back of the quilt?

What thread color do you want to stitch shirts to top? ( If you don’t have a preference that is fine)

What color of thread do you want for the quilting? This can be determined once the fabric has been decided and purchased

Take each shirt and decide if you want the front, back, or both sides of the shirt to be included in the quilt, then separate the shirts according to what part you want in the quilt then bag each part separately and label it.

Select 1 shirt that you would like to use as the center of the quilt, bag and tag it seperately
